there's something to be said for delicately selecting words, placing them thoughtfully and strategically in a sequence that evokes the precise, predetermined emotional response the writer intended. but there's something to be shouted for the chaotically honest, instinctual, flowing rush of syllables that tumble effortlessly from the synapses of a brain, pass by your throat and skip skip skip out your unfiltered fingers into whatever clumsy, untainted mess that happens to spill out on the screen. but no! spellcheck! grammar check! delete delete check recheck reread rewrite print reprint. the age of the digital word processor. a revolution of perfection, pervading our ever-shrinking planet one backspace button at a time. dun dun dddddun
