my good friend amy recently started a food blog, 'feeding chase', that will make you drool like a dog and envy her husband bitterly. ames is bubbling over with good ideas that will undoubtedly land her a television show or world-famous cafe someday and i cant wait to watch it all happen (well, lets be honest, id rather taste than watch). i was lucky enough to sample a peach filled cinnamon sugar muffin tonight, bless my soul (stomach), and can now add my testimony to chase's of how talented our girl is. so read up! and feel free to drop by and share the results. love you amy lady.

happy birthday maggie eliza harris! 21 years and still kicking. i share a bed with this koook, along with peanut butter, pineapple curry, weekly pancake dates, too much milk, and plenty golden memories. a gem, a real gem. mags and me (not to be confused with maggie & me, a popular indie-folk band) have grown into quite the dynamic duo, two peas in a pod--adventuring always, whether we're crashing hippie thanksgiving on the na pali coast or dancing to mr. saxobeat in bed. maggie has a tendency to melt peoples hearts--she'll harmonize til your knees go weak, feed you rolls and honey till your soul overflows, and laugh so hard your eyes will squint up just like hers. she knows how to live. knows how to make paradise sunnier than it already is.

sacred falls magic tucked behind the slums of hauula. we are discovering the fun of water proof disposables--second only to the coveted go-pro. but c'mon, we're poor--very poor, college students. if we spent our money on fancy cameras we couldn't afford to make late night trips to foodland for powdered donuts, papayas and diet cokes every night.
